Here, you can explore the variety of editing service options I offer, read the testimonials of previous clients, and submit an editing request. I have previous experience editing poetry collections, fiction manuscripts, academic papers, college admission essays, resumes, and more. My qualifications include being a current MFA student of Creative Writing in Poetry, a Lead Writing Instructor at House of Amal, and Managing Editor - previously copyeditor - at Porter House Review. I’ve been freelance editing for 5+ years.
Writing

Content/Substantive Editing
Fact-checking, structure and organization, clarity and tone. Includes significant rewriting. Typically priced at $0.05/word.
Line Editing
Recommended for poetry. Checks for overall consistency and understanding, as well as punctuation, grammar, flow and readability. Typically priced at $0.03/word.
Copyediting
This option is usually for a second or third draft, with a specific look at grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and stylistic revision. Typically priced at $0.02/word.
Proofreading
Proofreading is for the final or near-final stages for a piece of writing and includes checking for flow and consistency. Typically priced at $0.01/word.
Consultation
This includes initial consultations, follow-up phone conversations, and extensive communications regarding your writing piece. Typically $20/15 minutes or $60/1 hour.
